Resident, 1 Brunel Crescent No objection to the location of the crossing as advertised but objects to any form of crossing that incorporates obtrusive lighting or audible signals in close proximity to their house.
There is a large tree at the end of the garden that will to some extent mask the signal heads. The heads will also be fitted with directional shrouds to direct the light towards traffic. The audible signal can be turned down so as not to be too obtrusive. |
Resident, 2 Brunel Crescent Suggests that when we move a bus stop away from the crossing, we move it further away than intended so that it is not positioned behind her property.
Doing this will mean moving it a considerable distance away from the estate path were people come from to use the stop. The foot way is separated from the property by a high brick wall at this location. |
Resident, 3 Brunel Crescent Suggests the bus stops are moved further away from the crossing so parked buses don’t obscure visibility for motorists leaving the nearby side roads. |
The exact positions for the relocated stops can be investigated at the detailed design stage with side road visibility considered appropriately at that stage. (Bear in mind the above comment). |
