I have lived in Oxford for most of my life, ever since I was a student at Somerville College.

 

After graduating, I spent 5 years in Zambia and then returned to teach in state secondary schools in the county for many years.

 

I have been a city councillor since 1996.

 

Among my hobbies, I play pool for the county.
