Joint Strategic Needs Assessment Update pdf icon PDF 131 KB

The Health and Wellbeing Board is RECOMMENDED to:

 

1.    APPROVE the proposed move from an annual comprehensive refresh model to a staggered thematic delivery model for the JSNA, aligned to Health and Wellbeing Board priorities and reporting cycles.

2.    APPROVE the development and maintenance of a JSNA forward plan to guide future thematic updates and broader strategic assessments.

3.    NOTE the continuing role of the JSNA Steering Group in supporting prioritisation, governance and future delivery of JSNA outputs.

4.    APPROVE the proposed outputs and delivery timetable set out in this report.

 

7.

Health and Wellbeing Strategy Indicator Review pdf icon PDF 295 KB

The Oxfordshire Health and Wellbeing Board is RECOMMENDED to:

 

1.    CONTINUE the process of a rotating quarterly update to the Oxfordshire Health and Wellbeing Board on the progress of the Oxfordshire Health and Wellbeing (H&WB) strategic priorities by theme: Start Well, Live Well, Age Well and Building Blocks of health.

 

2.    APPROVE a revised core set of 39 Health and Wellbeing (H&WB) outcomes metrics aligned with Marmot principles, as set out in Annex 2, updated to accompany quarterly thematic progress reports, with metrics available online in an easily accessible form.

Oxfordshire Marmot Place - Rural Inequalities report pdf icon PDF 150 KB

The Health and Wellbeing Board is RECOMMENDED to:

 

1.    NOTE the findings of the Oxfordshire Rural Areas Data Pack and the “Health and wellbeing in rural towns and villages in Oxfordshire” report, and their alignment with the Board’s prevention and inequalities priorities.

 

2.    SUPPORT dissemination of both reports and encourage partners to work with rural communities to develop locally-led responses, building on existing community assets.

 

3.    USE the quantitative data and community insight to inform system-wide place-based planning, including the development of neighbourhood approaches, with particular attention to transport and connectivity, access to health and care, young people, housing and infrastructure, and the sustainability of community and voluntary action.
