6.                 Transport Asset Management Plan and Capital & Revenue Works Programme

Revised annexes are attached to the schedule as follows:

Annex 4c (download as .xls file)

Officers have identified an error in the calculation of costs for works in the 5 Year programme of Structural Maintenance Assessed Footway Schemes. The computation utilised an incorrect rate for resurfacing works that produced estimates that were too high.  The correct rate has now been used, with the effect of reducing scheme costs for these works in the programme. As the overall budget figures remains unchanged there are now more schemes that can be included in the Footways programme for 2008/09 and beyond.

Annex 8 (download as .xls file)

This shows the recommended Section 42 allocations for Oxford City District Council for 2008/09.  The table contains an element for Footways Assessed schemes of £49,620. This figure has been amended to reflect the changes to Footway scheme estimates in Annex 4c. The Total figure in Column B of Annex 8 has therefore been adjusted to £1,043,767 in line with these changes.

8.                 Sustainable School Travel Strategy

An error has been identified on page 25, where paragraph 4 notes St. Philip and St. John’s bus being a requirement of Oxford City Council’s planning committee. The school’s correct title is St Philip & St. James and the bus is required by Oxfordshire County Council’s Planning and Regulation Committee.
