            Members are asked to note the following amendments to the Minutes at         CA3:

Page 1 - Officers: Part of meeting – delete I. Kirkman and add J. Morris (Item 21/07).

            Page 3 – Minute 21/07 (The Future of Dunmore Infant and Junior Schools).

·         Paragraph 3, 1st bullet point – delete the text “Junior and”.

8.          Establishment Monitoring

Members are asked to note the following is to be substituted for Paragraph 19 in the report CA8:

·                    vacancies for the last 3 quarters have shown little movement and remain in the region of 700. This suggests that not all these vacancies are required. Directorates have previously been asked to review vacancies to ensure that they are matched by budgets and that there is an operational need for them. However, in view of the fact that the number of vacancies remains unchanged, urgent action is now required to ensure that the establishment figure is not over inflated and that we avoid a return to the previous culture of ‘new task, new person’. HR will work therefore with directorates over the next 6 months to review vacancies and ensure that where a strong case cannot be made for them, they are removed from the establishment.

And that the following additional recommendation has been added to the report CA8 and to the face of the Agenda:

9.      Care Home And Primary Care Centre Development In Chipping Norton

Amendments to the extract from proposed non-binding Heads of Terms for the Chipping Norton Care Home and Community Health Facility (in bold and strikethrough) is attached at Annex 1 (download as .doc file).

10.     Funded Transport Services - Best Value Review

A summary of the new provisions under the Education & Inspections Act to the report CA10 is attached at Annex 2.(download as .doc file)

12.          Update On Consultation On New Primary School At Bodicote/Bankside

A supplementary report to the report CA12 is attached at Annex 3 (download as .doc file).

Members are also asked to note that the following additional recommendation has been added to the report at CA12 and to the face of the Agenda:

(b)              That Officers ensure that the long-term needs of the Catholic Community are fully appraised and recognised as part of the Primary Review of Banbury provision in summer 2007
