5. Youth
Justice Plan 2006/07
On
8 May the Community Safety Scrutiny Committee welcomed the draft Youth
Justice Plan and AGREED to urge the Cabinet to pursue discussions
with the Learning & Skills Council in relation to providing adequate
training to assist young offenders aged 16 and 17 into employment.
The
Committee further AGREED to monitor progress on achieving the education,
training and employment performance indicator.

Please note the
following additional items for the meeting on 6 June:
- Chipping
Norton Depot
To consider terms for possible disposal of surplus depot land for
commercial purpose
- Revenue Budget
2006/07
To consider adjustments to the budget in response to the directorates
realignment and other factors, for recommendation to the Council
- Shared Services Centre
To consider a project appraisal in respect of the acquisition of
accommodation for the Shared Services Centre.
