SECTION A – REVIEW OF SUBSIDISED SERVICES IN THE WITNEY, CARTERTON AND BURFORD AREAS

This Annex gives background information on services under review as well as new proposals in these areas. Unless the Executive decides otherwise, all are being considered for full four-year contracts which will end on 28 October 2006.

I. CURRENT INTEGRATED CONTRACTS

Contract: PT/W 3

Service Description: Witney Town Service (Witney Cogges Estate – Witney centre; Witney Farmers Close/ Witney Madley Park – Witney centre; Witney Smith’s Estate/Witney centre)
Days and times of operation: Monday-Friday, off-peak, plus Saturday morning, apart from Farmers Close – Monday-Saturday, off-peak.
Operated by: Stagecoach Oxford, service 12 (Cogges Estate), 15 (Smith’s Estate); Farmer’s Close is currently incorporated into service 42 (Witney – Long Hanborough – Woodstock (contract PT/W 128).
[NB Madley Park is the new north-east Witney development which is currently not served by public transport].
