Targeted Capital Fund 14-19 Diplomas & SEN

Summary of representations in person

 

Councillor Fooks referred to the need for more detailed information regarding projects proposed and those supported and not supported.

 

Mr Hales confirmed that the report sought agreement for the selection criteria and had detailed those projects which had been received so far which had met those criteria.  Other projects would be considered.

 

Cabinet Member’s Comments

 

Councillor Waine confirmed that he had requested officers to provide an annual update on this area of work which would be available to lead members at appropriate Directorate meetings.

 

Decision

Having regard to the arguments and options set out in the documentation before me, the representations made to me and the further considerations set out above, I confirm my decisions on this matter as follows:

 

to approve the process for establishing and selecting the 14-19 diploma projects for funding from the Targeted Capital Fund allocation identified for this purpose and the proposed implementation routes.
