Councillor Maggie Filipova-Rivers

Maggie has extensive experience in local government, currently serving as Cabinet Member for Housing at South Oxfordshire District Council. Alongside this, she works for City of Sanctuary UK where she supports over 160 local authorities on the development of integration policies for people seeking sanctuary. Maggie also works with the World Bank in private sector decarbonisation and sustainable manufacturing. Her academic background is in the political economy of development.
