This decision will be taken under urgency procedures.

Reason for urgency:
We require a urgent decision to approve this extension contract as the spend is over £500k and is therefore a key decision, as we have been unable to reach a decision from the provider until 26 June 2023 due to changes the provider wanted from the contract. The contract expires Friday 30th June 2023 and the extension was agreed with Anne Coyle, the Corporate Director for Children’s Services with Barnardos the current provider. This extension is permitted within the extension options in the contract therefore a tender is not required.
