Learning Disability and Autism Supported Living further contract extension and replacement contract procurement

Previously agreed: In October 2025, the Council agreed to extend the Brandon Trust contracts and to procure two replacement contracts through the Live Well Supported Services Framework. This was to keep support in place while new long-term contracts were arranged.

The procurement process for Lot 1 and Lot 2 did not result in a successful contract award. The Council therefore needs to run a further tender process for those two lots. Lots 4, 8 and 9 do not need to be tendered again, but their transfer dates need to align with Lots 1 and 2 so the overall transition is coordinated.

A further 44-day extension, from 14 September 2026 to 27 October 2026, will keep support in place while the new tender process and mobilisation arrangements are completed. This reduces the risk of disruption for people receiving support, their families, staff and providers.
