This report presents the responses to the public consultation around the strategy for future schools in Grove and Wantage area. Due to significant proposed housing development in the area, a public consultation was held in order to inform the formation of an over-arching strategy for pupil place provision to meet the anticipated demand. While some decisions on that strategy remain uncertain, due to being reliant on timescales as yet unknown, this report puts forward certain recommendations and seeks approval for them. The Cabinet Member is asked to note the outcomes of the consultation into new schools for Grove & Wantage and RECOMMENDED to approve the strategies set out in paragraphs 25 and 26 for expansion of school capacity in Grove and Wantage.
