Report by Area Service Manager – Youth (Central) (CMDCY5).

The Cabinet Member for Children, Young People & Families is RECOMMENDED to consider the applications (listed in paragraph 6 of this report) for grant support in the light of the officer recommendation as set out in the applications annexed to this report.

Following consideration of the grant applications as listed in paragraph 6 of the report, it was AGREED as follows:

• Banbury and District Canoe Club -  to award the sum of £5,000, subject to full match funding being in place during this financial year;
• Carterton Community College – to award the sum of £2,435, subject to there being wider community use of the artificial pitch, including use by the local Cricket Club (ie. Kilkenny Cricket Club);
• Shipton under Wychwood Cricket Club – to award the sum of £3,930 as per the officer’s recommendation.
