Report by Director for Children, Young People & Families  (CMDCY4).

The Cabinet Member for Children, Young People & Families is RECOMMENDED to consider the applications (listed in paragraph 6 of this report) for grant support in the light of the officer recommendation as set out in the application annexed to this report.

The Cabinet Member for Children, Young People and Families considered a report (CMDCY4) giving details of bids for grant support from the Chill Out Fund 2010-2011 received from the following organisations:

·        Rebound

·        Didcot Cricket Club

·        Wolvercote Young People Club

·        Blackbird Leys Youth Centre

·        Riverside Centre

John Mitchell and Ruth Kempson advised Councillor Chapman that the bids could be agreed in principle, subject to the subsequent release of the necessary funding.

Following consideration of the applications as listed in paragraph 6 of the report, it was AGREED that;

(a)               all the bids be agreed in principle, with the exception of the Rebound application, subject to the subsequent release of the necessary funding; and

(b)               the Rebound bid be supported in principle, but that the applicants be requested to submit a further bid nearer the target date.
