The Cabinet Member is RECOMMENDED to:

a)    Approve the proposed introduction of 20mph speed limits in Wheatley, as advertised.

The Chair introduced the item to the meeting.

The Chair noted that the Wheatley Parish Council was supportive of the scheme, noting the comments relating to some amendments in their submission. It was noted that discussions continue with Holton Parish Council regarding the 20mph limits.

The Chair and officers confirmed that discussions would continue around enforcement with Thames Valley Police.

The Chair referenced several consultation responses relating to speeds and collisions.

The Chair thanked officers and agreed to the recommendations in the report.

RESOLVED to:

a) Approve the proposed introduction of 20mph speed limits in Wheatley, as advertised.
