Report by Corporate Director Environment & Place (CMDHM6).

The report presents a review of the waiting restrictions approved and implemented in 2020 but which were subject to a review 6 months after the restrictions had been in place.

The Cabinet Member for Highways Management is RECOMMENDED to:

a)            approve the proposed amendments to existing waiting restrictions at Green Close, Longfields and Windmill Avenue;

b)           approve additional waiting restrictions at Fane Close and Moor Pond Close.

The Cabinet Member for Highway Management considered (CMDHM6) a review of the waiting restrictions approved and implemented in 2020 but which had been made subject to a review 6 months after the restrictions had been in place.

Officers advised that following the 6-month review a number of amendments had been made which had been detailed in the report and that both local members, Councillor Sibley and Councillor Waine, had concurred with the changes made.

Noting the support of both local members and having regard to the information set out in the report before him together with representations made at the meeting the Cabinet Member for Highway Management confirmed his decision as follows:

a)            approve the proposed amendments to existing waiting restrictions at Green Close, Longfields and Windmill Avenue;

b)            approve additional waiting restrictions at Fane Close and Moor Pond Close.
