Minutes:

The Cabinet Member for Environment considered (CMDE10) a proposal for and responses received to a statutory consultation to provide two toucan crossings at Monahan Way, Carterton put forward due to development of adjacent land.

Noting that the local member had reiterated by email his support for the proposal but also the concerns expressed by Brize Norton parish council regarding the potential for traffic to increase in that village as a consequence of this scheme the Cabinet Member for Environment accepted the comments made by county officers in paragraph 7 of the report addressing that issue.

Therefore, having regard to the information set out in the report before her and the representations made to her at the meeting the Cabinet Member for Environment confirmed her decision as follows:

to approve the proposals to provide two toucan crossings at Monahan Way Carterton as advertised.
