Councillor Brighouse, Chairman of Performance Scrutiny Committee highlighted the financial performance and the difficulty in reducing budget line with decisions previously made. This was a threat to the County and its services. At the last Performance Scrutiny Committee they had focussed on Children’s Social Care and safeguarding.
