Approved an exemption from the full tendering requirements of the Council’s Contract Procedure Rules |
The original procurement process for the service was concluded in December 2011 resulting in a contract which finished on 31 December 2012. This is not a favourable time to potentially move to a new provider, due to bank holidays and winter pressures on health and social care services. The 3 month contract to 31 March 2013 ensures continuity of provision during retendering. |
