The decision allows the provider to engage Willmott Dixon
under a Pre-Construction Services Agreement (PCSA) for the design and
pre-construction services up to the end of RIBA Stage 4 for the new Speedwell
House.
Approval to enter the first part of a two-stage contact with
Willmott Dixon for them to carry out pre-construction services on the expansion
and refurbishment of Speedwell House under a Pre-Construction Service Agreement
(PCSA).
Authority delegated to the Director of Property in
consultation with the Head of Legal Services and Deputy Monitoring Officer to
complete all necessary legal documentation to give effect to this contract
award.
To enable formal engagement with Willmott Dixon under a
Pre-Construction Services Agreement (PCSA) and maintain traction on the
programme for the extension and refurbishment of Speedwell House.
This engagement follows a rigorous formal tender process
where Willmott Dixon were successful following thorough evaluation and
moderation.
No other option is open to the council that will allow the
project to maintain traction on the ambitious programme.
