Copies
of the Drat Plan were sent to members with a letter from the Assistant
Secretary dated 16 June 2004.
Following
the consultation process the LEA have revised the Plan and enclose:
- a copy of the
Revised Plan – Appendix A
- a Schedule of
amendments made to the first draft – Appendix B.
- copies of correspondence
arising from the consultation – Appendix C.
The
Committee are recommended to approve the plan for 2004-2009 as circulated.
- DFES Consultations
- Revised Guidance
on Statutory Proposals to Close Rural Schools (they are for information
only).
- Amendments to
the Education (Miscellaneous) (England) (Amendment) Regulations 2004.
This
was circulated to all members of the Committee and the matters raised
were sent to DFES by their deadline of 30 September. A copy is attached
at Appendix D, together with a copy of the response sent by the LEA.
- Competitions for New
Secondary Schools
To
receive for information a copy of a briefing paper prepared by the Education
Network (TEN) – Appendix E.
