Summary of representations in person
Ms Browning confirmed that part of the £3.4 million secured developer contribution for the at-grade roundabout scheme was time limited until 2011. The remainder until 2018.
Decision
Having regard to the arguments and options set out in the documentation before me, the representations made to me and the further considerations set out above, I confirm my decisions on this matter as follows:
to:
(a) approve the principle of an at-grade roundabout at the A40/Downs Road junction;
(b) authorise officers to progress the scheme to the detailed design stage and to submit a planning application for the scheme, subject to the provision of a satisfactory Environmental Impact Assessment.
