PROGRESS OF APPROVED SCHEMES - NOVEMBER 2006 UPDATE

Report by the Head of Transport

Introduction

  1. This is the eighth update report giving the progress status of schemes approved by the former Transport Implementation Committee (TIC) and now the Cabinet Member for Transport (CMD) since December 2002.

    2. Progress Summary

  2. The November 2006 update report (Annex 1) (download as .doc file) now includes schemes approved up to the 14 September 2006 CMD meeting adding a further 21 new schemes (from the 8 June 2006 TIC and 14 September 2006 CMD meeting) to the July 2006 update.

  3. As requested by Councillor David Robertson the traffic light system of scheme status identification has been introduced. This shows 0 schemes holding red status, 10 schemes holding amber status and 23 schemes holding green status. In addition 12 schemes have been implemented since the last update report.

    4. RECOMMENDATIONS

  4. The Cabinet Member for Transport is RECOMMENDED to note the report and progress on the schemes.
