Statement of Decision

 

Cycle Track Conversion Order – Woodgreen Cycle Track, Witney

Decision

 

Having regard to the arguments and options set out in the documentation before me, the representations made to me and the further considerations set out above, I confirm my decisions on this matter as follows:

 

to authorise:

 

(a)       implementation of the Woodgreen Cycle Track as shown in Annex 1 to the report CMDT9;

 

(b)       removal under the powers in Section 66(4) of the Highways Act 1980  of a length of footway detailed in Annex 2 to the report CMDT9 and construction of a cycle track under Section 65(1) as set out in the report CMDT9;

 

(c)               officers to pursue the conversion of that length of definitive footpath shown in Annex 3 to the report CMDT9 as re-designated Bridleway in order to allow cyclists to formally use it, subject to the satisfactory outcome of a formal consultation and the agreement of the Planning & Regulation Committee.
