PROGRESS OF APPROVED SCHEMES - FEBRUARY 2007 UPDATE

Introduction

1.                  This is the ninth update report on the progress status of schemes approved by the former Transport Implementation Committee (TIC) and now the Cabinet Member Decisions Transport (CMDT) since December 2002.

Progress Summary

2.                  The February 2007 update report (Annex 1) (download as .doc file) now includes schemes approved up to the 24 November 2006 CMDT meeting adding a further 12 new schemes from the 6 October 2006 and 24 November 2006 CMDTs.  Under the traffic light system of scheme status identification there is 1 scheme holding red status, 9 schemes holding amber status and 21 schemes holding green status.  In addition 9 schemes have been implemented since the last update report.

RECOMMENDATIONS

3.                  The Cabinet Member for Transport is RECOMMENDED to note the report and progress on the schemes.
