1. A415 Route Improvement

Additional Representations

On 26 September 2006 the Children’s Services Scrutiny Committee asked that when consideration was given to the A415 Route Upgrade the Cabinet Member for Transport should take into account the need to maintain the bus service, which provides a link between Witney and Abingdon College.

The Committee’s material concern was that school buses currently used on the Service would not be able to use Newbridge.

Revised Recommendation

The Cabinet Member has agreed to the following change (in bold italics) to recommendation

    1. remove the A415 route improvement between the A34 and A40 from the County Council’s Longer Term Transport Improvement Programme;

3. Oxford, Marston South Controlled Parking Zone

The Head of Transport wishes to make the following amendments to his report:

Paragraph 66(a)(xxvi) add "Marston Road:" immediately before the word Change

Annex A

    • all references to paragraph 60 to read 66
    • page 20 section referring to Marston Road and under Committee Recommendation add (xxvi) to (xxvii) and (xxviii)

5. Transport Capital Programme 2006-2011

Item 5 on the list of Items for Decision should have read Transport Capital Programme 2006 – 2011

Additional Representations

On 20 September 2006 the Environment & Economy Scrutiny Committee considered this report and agreed to ask the Cabinet Member for Transport to reinstate the Didcot, Cow lane Subway Scheme.
