Summary of representations in person
Councillor Howell supported the proposal and thanked Ralph Green for the extensive negotiations which had been undertaken. Referring to the bus stop he suggested that that was outside the scope of this scheme
Mr Warren referred to further letters of support from residents. He confirmed that no proposals had been formulated for a bus stop although the design could accommodate that if one was required in the future.
Decision
Having regard to the arguments and options set out in the documentation before me, the representations made to me and the further considerations set out above, I confirm my decisions on this matter as follows:
to authorise the making of a Traffic Regulation Order prohibiting right turns into and out of Burcot Lane at its junction with the A4074 as advertised together with implementation of associated physical measures as set out in drawing reference number D&I/A3/0035 subject to minor amendments recommended by future safety & vulnerable road users audits, should any arise.
