Decision
Having regard to the arguments and options set out in the documentation before me, the representations made to me and the further considerations set out above, I confirm my decisions on this matter as follows:
To place Employee Volunteering on hold until it can be managed from within the Shared Service Centre and resource issues can be addressed.
(This acknowledges the role a future volunteering scheme might play in the council’s bid to be a Chartermark authority and recognises the lessons learnt from the pilot volunteering scheme.)
