- Local Area Agreement
The
Corporate Governance Scrutiny Committee have made the following comments
(references have been updated in line with the most recently circulated
draft – Version 6):
- Page 3, paragraph
10 – Update the number of targets.
- Economic Enterprise
& Development Block - The Committee noted that the Public Service
Board had decided not to include the promotion of air quality and
the benefits of cycling/cycle ways as priorities for the next 3 years.
- Children &
Young People Block: The Committee:
- noted that
the Assistant Chief Executive would review the references/attitudes
towards young people and families;
- felt there
should be reference to parental concerns/family problems.
- Safer &
Stronger Communities Block: [detailed typographical points which have
been addressed in subsequent drafts]
- Generally:
- The Cabinet
was asked to consider including LAA targets within the Council’s
priorities for 2006/07.
- Grammar and
spelling should be tightened up.
