Commentary Targets achieved for 8 out of 12 indicators. Year on year performance improved for 8 out of 9 indicators where comparative information availableV Year on year performance improved for 8 out of 9 indicators that support this priorityZ The County Council continues to work closely with the health system to improve performancez The Council has narrowly missed the stretching PSA target but has shown considerable year on year performance improvement.u The Council has missed the stretching PSA target but is a high performing authority - the best nationally in 2004/05.µ Performance is based on four annual condition surveys. Changes to externally set parameters make it difficult to compare performance against target or to compare data year on year. Ø Targets achieved for 2 out of 4 indicators that support this priority. The percentage of offences committed by young people was not achieved due to an increase in custodial sentencing and a rise in police detections. Targets achieved for 2 out of 4 indicators where outturn data is available. Year on year performance has improved for the two indicators where comparative data is available. 33% of PSA reward grant achievedÉ There has been significant improvement in the educational attainment of looked after children. The PSA target achieved for 1 out of 3 indicators. Year on year performance improved across all 3 targets. Red Amber Green 2 = Oxfordshire 10+3 priority 3 = PSAØ 42% of targets were achieved. A significant proportion of the targets not achieved were stretching targets included within the PSA.
