Travel survey for Haddenham and Thame Parkway railway station
A survey was carried out at the above location on Thursday 21 March 2002 between 07.15 am and 09.15 am. The following questions were asked of passengers waiting on the platform for trains.
Approximately 310 passengers were travelling to London. (Northbound passengers were not questioned as there were only 3). 45% (ie 140 passengers) were randomly selected and asked the 5 questions above. From this sample, 28 respondents had started their journey in Thame, 35 in Haddenham and 77 from further afield. Those that were making the journey as a one-off event are categorised as not applicable (n/a).

Of the 20 respondents who said they would cycle to the station either regularly or occasionally 55% (ie 11 respondents) currently drive there. 8 of these drivers make the journey to the station at least twice a week.

Of the 22 respondents who said they would not cycle to the station either regularly or occasionally, 55% (ie 12 respondents) currently walk to the station.
