The decision on this matter needs to be taken by the Corporate Director –
Communities on 16 March 2021 in order to meet the deadlines in place for the
novation process. Should this novation not proceed, this would seriously prejudice the
Council’s interests in that there would be a reputational and financial risk to the
Council of not having a contract in place.
