Agreement in principle on priority areas for allocating the public health grant reserves and public health grant funding, including a workplace health MOT service was made on 19/05/2025 and for a community outreach alcohol IBA advice service on 22/09/2025. Approval for commissioning a combined holistic workplace health MOT service and community health outreach service on 27/10/2026.

Allow construction of the Cherwell Street Improvement Scheme.

To finalise the target cost and programme for the construction of the Cherwell Street Improvement Scheme and to award the NEC 4 Engineering and Construction Contract for the Cherwell Street Improvement Scheme to M Group Limited, pursuant to the Pagabo Civils and Infrastructure Framework

(Lot 1).

Funding of £3.5m for the project has been approved by Strategic Capital

and Commercial Board on 10th July 2025.

23/10/2025 - Oxfordshire Public Library Byelaws ref: 11290    Recommendations Approved

The local public library byelaws had not been formally updated since 1977 and, following a new national template provided by the Department of Culture, Media and Sport (and following their due process), the decision ratifies an up-to-date set of byelaws for the county. The byelaws are made under Section 19 of the Public Libraries & Museum Act (1964) and the decision relates to their revision and subsequent operational implementation.

Following public inspection and discussion with senior leaders and Libraries’ Portfolio Holder, a new set of public library byelaws have been agreed for Oxfordshire, in line with national government guidance.
