This report presents responses received to a statutory consultation on proposals to introduce waiting restrictions on Blackwell Drive and White Post Road on account of adjacent development. Funding for consultation on the proposals has been provided by the developers who will also fund implementation if approved.

The Cabinet Member for Highway Management is RECOMMENDED to approve as advertised the proposed no waiting at any time restrictions on Blackwell Drive and White Post Road.

The Cabinet Member for Highway Management, Councillor Bearder, considered a report of the Corporate Director Environment & Place (CMDHM7) presenting responses received to a statutory consultation on proposals to introduce waiting restrictions on Blackwell Drive and White Post Road because of the adjacent development.

It was RECOMMENDED that the Cabinet Member for Highway Management approve, as advertised, Blackwell Drive and White Post Road.

Councillor Bearder noted that, because there was a lot of traffic at school drop off times, the proposals were sensible in terms of safety.

Having considered the report authored by the Director of Growth and Economy, Councillor Bearder, announced his decision, as follows:
