Purpose:

The decision makes provision for the Public Health Team to proceed to the next stage of the provision cycle in the re-commission of the ISHS.

 

Decision:

A decision was made to approve re-commissioning of the ISHS contract for 5+3 years from 1st April 2027.

 

Reasons for the decision:

Delivery of the ISHS fulfils the Council’s statutory responsibility and obligation to provide comprehensive open access sexual health services, as mandated by the Health and Social Care Act 2012.
