Cabinet Member’s Comments

 

My appointment as a Board Member of the South East England Development Agency does not have effect until 14 December 2008.  I will, therefore, attend the meeting of SEERA on Friday, 12 December 2008, and so my resignation will have effect from midnight on that date.

 

Decision

 

Having regard to the arguments and options set out in the documentation before me, the representations made to me and the further considerations set out above, I confirm my decisions on this matter as follows:

 

to:

 

(a)               note that my resignation will have effect from midnight on 12 December 2008;

 

(a)               appoint Councillor Roger Belson to the vacant place on SEERA with effect from 13 December 2008; and

 

(b)               confirm Councillor David Robertson as the deputy.
