6.      Service and Resource Planning 2009/10 – 2013/14

 

Since the publication of the main Service & Resource Planning report, further information relevant to the financial position of the Council has become available. The addenda attached to this document as Annex 1 (download as .doc file) sets out that information and the impact it has on the financial position for 2009/10 and the medium term and proposes a further recommendation. 

 

9.         Scrutiny Review of Finmere Quarry

 

Attached as Annex 2 (download as .doc file) to this addenda are the final recommendations of the Environment and Economy Scrutiny Committee (CA9(b)) and the officer response to the recommendations (CA9(c))

 

Urgent Item - Appointment To South East England Councils

 

          URGENT ITEM

 

‘Under the provisions set out in Section 100B(4) of the Local Government Act1972 (as amended) the Chairman of the meeting is of the opinion that the following report Appointment to South East England Councils can be taken before Agenda Item No 12 as urgent business by reason of the need not to delay consideration by Council and a subsequent appointment to South East England Councils

 

The Chairman of the Corporate Governance Scrutiny Committee has been notified of the need to consider this item as a matter of urgency.’

 

The report attached as Annex 3 (download as .doc file) to this document seeks approval to recommend to Council to add South East England Councils to the list of ‘strategic’ Outside Bodies to which the Cabinet makes appointments.

 

RECOMMENDATION

 

The Cabinet is RECOMMENDED to RECOMMEND to Council to add South East England Councils to the list of ‘strategic’ Outside Bodies to which the Cabinet makes appointments.
