PROGRESS OF APPROVED SCHEMES - APRIL 2007 UPDATE

Introduction

1.                  This is the tenth update report giving the progress status of schemes that have been approved since December 2002.  Reports were formerly made to the Transport Implementation Committee (TIC) and more recently to the Cabinet Member for Transport Decision (CMDT) meetings.

Progress Summary

2.                  The April 2007 update report (Annex 1) (download as .doc file) includes schemes approved up to the 15 February 2007 CMDT meeting adding a further 7 new schemes (from 4 January 2007 and 15 February 2007 CMDT meetings) to the February 2007 update.  Under the traffic light system of scheme status identification there is 1 scheme holding red status, 6 schemes holding amber status and 18 schemes holding green status.  In addition 9 schemes have been implemented since the last update report.

RECOMMENDATIONS

3.         The Committee is RECOMMENDED to note the report and progress on the schemes.
