The Scrutiny Committee considered the matters, reports and recommendations contained or referred to in the agenda for the meeting, and agreed as set out below. Copies of the agenda and reports are attached to the signed Minutes.

    23/05. ELECTION TO CHAIR FOR THE 2005/06 COUNCIL YEAR

    RESOLVED: that Councillor Mrs Fitzgerald-O’Connor be elected to chair the Committee for the 2005/06 Council Year.

    24/05. ELECTION TO DEPUTY CHAIR FOR THE 2005/06 COUNCIL YEAR

    Councillor Hayward proposed and Councillor Viney seconded Councillor Stone for Deputy Chairman of the Committee. Councillor Patrick proposed and Councillor D Turner seconded Councillor Fooks for Deputy Chairman of the Committee. Nine members having voted in favour of Councillor Stone and five members having voted in favour of Councillor Fooks, it was:

    RESOLVED: that Councillor Stone be elected Deputy Chairman of the Committee for the 2005/06 Council Year.
