The Scrutiny Committee considered the matters, reports and recommendations contained or referred to in the agenda for the meeting and agreed as set out below. Copies of the agenda and reports are attached to the signed Minutes.
1/09 ELECTION OF CHAIRMAN FOR THE 2009/10 COUNCIL YEAR
Councillor Hallchurch moved and Councillor Fitzgerald O’Connor seconded that Councillor Seale be elected Chairman of the Committee for the 2009/10 Council Year.
Councillor Hutchinson moved and Councillor Sherwood seconded that Councillor Hannaby be elected Chairman of the Committee for the 2009/10 Council Year.
Seven members having voted in favour of Councillor Seale and three members having voted in favour of Councillor Hannaby, it was:
RESOLVED: that Councillor Seale be elected Chairman of the Committee for the 2009/10 Council Year.
2/09 ELECTION OF DEPUTY CHAIRMAN FOR THE 2009/10 COUNCIL YEAR
Councillor Fatemian moved and Councillor Hallchurch seconded that Councillor Fitzgerald-O’Connor be elected Deputy Chairman of the Committee for the 20009/10 Council Year.
RESOLVED: that Councillor Fitzgerald-O’Connor be elected Deputy Chairman of the Committee for the 2009/10 Council Year.
