Local Multi-Disciplinary Teams
Locality Working and Integrated Support Service |
1. Further consultation with partners on defining the localities 2. Appoint the service manager in the Directorate to work with partners to lead the developments 3. Agree core principles and processes for locality working 4. Establish Steering Groups and fora in the localities on an agreed phased basis to link with the Children’s Centres and extended schools work 5. Establish monitoring and evaluation arrangements and links to the overarching Children and Young People’s Pan 6. Steering groups to be supported in work on a locality needs analysis and identification of priorities to improve outcomes 7. Recruit and appoint coordinators for each locality 8. Identify co-location bases and draw up an accommodation plan 9. Implementation of the Common Assessment Framework, lead professional and information sharing protocols and the necessary workforce developments 10. Engage children, young people and families in the design and delivery of the arrangements 11. Support services (and partner agencies where feasible) to consider realigning staffing allocations to ensure named staff in every locality team 12. Develop plans for the implementation of the Child Index and ICT systems to support effective inter agency case work management electronic records and tracking 13. Ensure effective communication systems |
