The Cabinet Member for Finance is RECOMMENDED to:

a)    Approve the award of a contract to Anglian Water National Business Ltd (trading as Wave) following a tendering process, for the provision of water supply and wastewater services.

The Cabinet Member for Finance is Recommended to:

a)    Approve rhe award of a contract to Anglian Water National Business Ltd (trading as Wave) following a tendering process, for the provision of water supply and wastewater services

The Cabinet member considered the report, which indicated that the current contract for water and wastewater has expired.  Following an evaluation of the tenders a new contract has been awarded to Anglian Water National Business Ltd (trading as Waver), on an initial two-year contract with the option to extend for a further two one-year periods.

The cost of the contract for the corporate estate would be approximately £245000 annually (dependent on the consumption) and if schools that had opted into the former contract continued to opt into the new contract it would be £413000 per annum.

The Cabinet Member thanked the officers for their work and agreed to the recommendation made in the report.

The Cabinet Member for Finance resolved to:
