Movement and Place Plans

The Movement and Place plans form part 2s of the Local Transport Connectivity Plan, with the first plan (Central Oxfordshire Travel Plan) being adopted in 2023.

Since then, a greater emphasis has been had on place hence forth updating the name to reflect Movement and Place. They will reflect Oxfordshire's changing priority to be a place shaper of choice and articulate the council's wide aspirations.

Objectives and Actions have been developed for our places with a focus on achieving liveable, healthy neighbourhoods and to help demonstrate and achieve integration across different modes and allow the achievement of the LTCP targets. The plans will replace the extant Local Transport Plan 4 strategies, adopted in 2016.

This is the first of the revised plans to be presented to cabinet members with a suite of plans expected to come forward over the next months.
