A request for the release of further Capital Drainage funding.

The Cabinet Member is RECOMMENDED to:

a)    Approve the release of £1.7 million to the capital drainage Cat 467 budget in 26/27, and £2.3 million in 27/28 to enable the alignment of resources within the Annual Plan and Contractors Plan for those years against the allocated budget

The Chair introduced the item to the meeting.

 

The Chair reiterated the commitment made by the Council in the Budget for gully repairs and noted that all gullies had been cleansed in the previous year. It would significantly improve drainage, particularly in the winter months given the periods of flooding over the last 12 months.

 

The Chair thanked officers for their work and agreed to the recommendations in the report.

 

RESOLVED to:
