Introduction of a 20mph zone on a new housing estate. Previously consulted but TRO expired so new notice required.

The Chair introduced the item to the meeting.

 

The Chair noted that this was to formalise an existing 20mph speed limit on a new estate. Officers confirmed that it had been funded by the developer.

 

The Chair thanked officers and agreed to the recommendations in the report.

 

RESOLVED to:

 

a)    Approve the formalisation of the existing 20mph speed limit within the ‘Bellway’ residential estate at the north-eastern end of Cholsey, south of Wallingford Road, as advertised.
