Tony grew up in
Didcot, went to Manor and St Birinus Schools, and raised his family here. He will become a Grandad in summer 2025.
A lifelong
railwayman since leaving Reading University.
Involved in many schemes across the country, including resignalling and electrifying the Great Western Main Line.
He was elected to
Didcot Town Council in 2023 – and is Deputy Leader.
He was also elected
to South Oxfordshire District Council that year and joined Cabinet in 2025.
A fan of live music – many kinds though 90’s Indie is favoured, a keen Didcot Town FC fan, and a very occasional hillwalker.
