The Chair introduced the item to the meeting.
The Chair noted that this related to Cherwell Street Bus Service Improvement Scheme and came for decision as it was a key decision due to the value of the contract. The value of the contract was £2.8m.
The Chair thanked officers and agreed to the recommendations in the report.
RESOLVED to:
a) Delegate authority to the Director of Environment and
Highways in consultation with the Head of Legal and Governance (Deputy
Monitoring Officer) to:
(i)
finalise the target cost and programme
for the construction of the Cherwell Street Improvement Scheme; and
(ii)
to award the NEC 4 Engineering and
Construction Contract for the Cherwell Street Improvement Scheme to M Group
Limited, pursuant to the Pagabo Civils and Infrastructure Framework (Lot 1).
