Proposed 20mph speed limit as part of the Vision Zero project.

The Cabinet Member is RECOMMENDED to:

a)    Approve the introduction of a 20mph speed limit within Brightwell Baldwin & Brightwell Upperton, as advertised.

The Chair introduced the item to the meeting.

Officers confirmed that the proposal arose from an omission during the earlier implementation phase of the 20mph speed limits programme and had been developed in consultation with the Parish Council.

The Chair noted that this seemed a sensible proposal which aligned with the County Council’s policy.

The Chair thanked officers and agreed to the recommendations in the report.

RESOLVED to:

a)    Approve the introduction of a 20mph speed limit within Brightwell Baldwin & Brightwell Upperton, as advertised.
