The Cabinet Member is RECOMMENDED to:

 

Approve the following speed limits within Benson parish as advertised:

 

a)    20mph speed limit on the unnamed Preston Crowmarsh Road, Beggarsbush Hill, and Clay Lane,

 

b)    50mph speed limit on the unnamed Preston Crowmarsh Road.

 

 

Decision:

Recommendations approved.

Minutes:

The Chair introduced the item, welcomed speakers to address the meeting and responded to their points in turn.

 

Officers noted consultation responses that opposed the scheme, but did not provide in-depth criticism of particular schemes, but more widely of the 20mph speed limits policy.

 

The Chair thanked officers and agreed to the recommendations in the report.

 

RESOLVED to:

 

Approve the following speed limits within Benson parish as advertised:

 

a) 20mph speed limit on the unnamed Preston Crowmarsh Road, Beggarsbush Hill, and Clay Lane,

 

b) 50mph speed limit on the unnamed Preston Crowmarsh Road.
