Decision:
Approved
Minutes:
The Cabinet Member for
Environment considered a report (CMDE8) which presented responses received in
the course of a statutory consultation on a proposal to amend an existing
traffic calming feature on the Hanney Road at Steventon
in response to an approved development
of land on the south side of the Hanney Road at Steventon.
Mr Tole presented the report and confirmed that he felt that issues
raised in the consultation had been covered.
The Cabinet Member for Environment agreed that the proposal seemed to be
the most sensible, reasonable and pragmatic way forward and although the
proposed footpath was not as wide as he would prefer to see it was reasonable
given its rural setting. Therefore
having regard to the arguments and options set out in the report and the
representations made to him he confirmed his decision as follows:
to approve implementation of the proposals as advertised and described in the report CMDE8.
